Join me for the magic of Samhain (pronounced sow-en), a night where the veil between this world and the next is thin. As we gather in Circle to mark the turning of the Wheel of the Year towards the fading of the sun as we embark on our journey through the colder months.

Samhain is on the 30th April, but Sunday on the Dark Moon is a wonderful time to gather in community - then you can gather with loved ones for your own personal rituals on the Tuesday evening!

This is a powerful time to honour our ancestors, our loved ones who are in spirit, and to ask for their assistance, protection and healing through ritual and ceremony as we gather with our community to celebrate.

We will be working specifically with the element of fire in our celebration to make our offerings, and to generate positive energy and intention as we prepare for Winter.

This circle is open to all

What to bring:

Note book and pen

Wear comfortable clothing

Shawl or jacket for being outside during the fire ritual

4 offerings – please note 3 will go into the fire, and 1 will be infused with the energy of the circle for you to take home. Think about things your ancestors or loved ones would have enjoyed such as:

Herbs, fruit, cakes or biscuits, alcohol, tobacco, sweets, shells, coins, flowers, grains, etc. (please use small plastic jars or zip lock bags for things like alcohol or honey - no glass)

Items to infuse may be a family heirloom, jewelry, altar item or a crystal.

Get to know the names of your parents, grandparents, and great grandparents if possible – and the lands from which they were born.

Please also have a good think about a prayer, note or wish to go into the fire.

What will be supplied: Nurturing teas & light refreshments, a saining ritual using Australian ethically grown White Sage, candles and tools for ritual magic

I have capped this ceremony to just 10 participants to create a safe and nurturing space.

Circles are designed for adults, although 13+ years are welcome if accompanied by a participating adult guardian.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement time to get settled.

The studio is located at: 50 Bakali Road, Tumbi Umbi

We are opposite Forresters beach Retirement Village (off Bellevue Road), our driveway is the first one after the long white fence. We are on a battle-axe property, and the studio is the first blue clad building. Please park to the right hand side. If you have any problems with directions at all please call Shannon on 0405546618

A lot of care & attention goes into each event here at Asha Moon Studio, preparations are made well in advance & spaces are very limited. Full payment is required at the time of booking, this secures your spot at the circle. Due this the booking fee is non refundable.

I understand that personal circumstances can change, for this reason the booking can be transferred to another date with 7 days notice from the commencement of the circle. Please email Shannon ASAP : infobloom@bigpond.com

If you are unwell please contact Shannon no later than 24 hours prior to the workshop, your spot will be put online to try to rebook, but if unsuccessful you will forfeit 50% of the fee (with the remainder available as a credit towards any future workshop).

If the spot is booked by someone else you will have a full credit to rebook a workshop for another time. Credits must be used within 12 months.

Cancellation on the day of the event or failing to show up forfeits 100% of your booking fee.

You are very welcome to send a friend in your place!

If in the unlikely event that I am unable to hold the circle due to illness / injury all participants will be offered a transfer to another date, or a full refund of the fee.

We do have circle participation minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel an event we may do so at any time, you will be offered a full refund.
