Selenite Cleansing Wand

Selenite is a wonderful crystal for cleansing the aura, cutting energetic ties and releasing all that is not yours to carry. It removes blocks, particularly from the physical and etheric bodies. It is also an excellent crystal for enhancing the properties of other stones, and for clearing and charging them.

Selenite is associated the moon Goddess Selene. Governing energies of the unconscious, instinct, subconscious, and emotional wellbeing.  The moon association also brings water energy to the fore, creating flexibility and intuition.

This wand features lavender (calming) & rosemary (protection) and a hematite crystal :

Hematite grounds and protects us.  It strengthens our connection with the earth, making us feel safe and secure.  It endows us with courage, strength, endurance and vitality.  A "stone for the mind", Hematite stimulates concentration and focus, enhancing memory and original thought. It focuses energy and emotions for balance between the body, mind and spirit. Dissolves negativity and prevents you from absorbing the negativity of others.

Use each evening before bed to cleanse your aura before sleeping :

Holding the wand in the left hand, holding over your shoulder behind the neck, pass the wand over back of your neck / back of head / top of head / in front of face/ sweeping off to the left away from the body. At the same time with intention say in your mind or out loud “I release all that is not mine” OR “I cut all negative cords of attachment” (say whatever feels right for you!)

Repeat on the right hand side.

May also be used in ritual to cleanse before ceremony instead of smudging, or to cleanse items / other crystals by passing the wand over them.
